Lightbulb Tutorial 9: Destroying Terrain

Any character that can do at least three damage can destroy Objects, Blocking Terrain, and Walls.

Select the character you want to attack the obstacle (terrain or object) and click the appropriate obstacle attack (Close or Ranged).

For Objects and Blocking Terrain, click the square that contains the obstacle. For Walls, click the square opposite the Wall from the character.

Click Confirm.

The obstacle attack interface appears. Click Yes.

You are offered a chance to make an attack roll: you will make the attack automatically if you do not roll, but rolling will allow you a chance for a critical hit if you need +1 damage to destroy the obstacle (and also risks a critical miss). If you want to make an attack roll, click Yes. If you want to hit automatically, click No. Then click Next.

If you chose to make an attack roll, use the attack roll screen normally.

Click the obstacle on the Destroy Targets UI to confirm the terrain destruction.

The obstacle is destroyed.
