Default HCO Crossover Booster Sealed Tournaments FAQ

HCO Crossover Booster Sealed Tournaments FAQ

What is a Crossover Booster Sealed Tournament?
Crossover Booster Sealed Tournaments are a sealed tournament format new to HCO that is currently not possible in physical HeroClix.

While an ordinary sealed tournament may only draw figures from one or two physical sets, a Crossover tournament can draw its figures from any of the Modern Marvel sets currently available in game. Additionally, any Marvel figures included in our Figure of the Week promotions also have a chance to show up in a Crossover Booster, either the week they are available as FOTW or shortly after.

How much will a Crossover Booster Sealed Tournament cost?
Crossover Booster Sealed Tournaments will be priced the same as GSX+ sealed tournaments, with a 200 ClixBux entry fee and similar prize structure.

What can I win from playing a Crossover Booster Sealed Tournament?

In addition to ClixBux prizes, the winner of a Crossover tournament will receive a random Limited Edition (LE) figure from either Hammer of Thor or GSX+. Also, instead of an LE, a tournament winner also has the chance to win the ultra-rare Thor’s Mighty Chariot, Moonstone, or War Machine exclusive figures.

What exactly will a Crossover Booster Sealed Tournament include?
A Crossover tournament will include ten figures from Modern Marvel HCO sets, with the following rarity distribution:

• 4 Common figures
• 2 Uncommon figures
• 1 Rare figure
• 1 Wild Common figure
• 1 Wild Uncommon figure
• 1 Wild Rare figure

What is a “Wild Common” figure?
The “Wild Common” single figure supplied as part of a Crossover tournament can either be a Common figure from a Modern Marvel set or a Gravity Feed figure from a Modern Marvel set. This will be the first time that Gravity Feed figures can participate in HCO sealed tournament play.

What is a “Wild Uncommon” figure?
The “Wild Uncommon” single figure supplied as part of a Crossover tournament can either be an Uncommon figure from a Modern Marvel set or a figure from a Modern Marvel Starter or Fast Force. This will be the first time that figures from Starters or Fast Forces can participate in HCO sealed tournament play.

What is a “Wild Rare” figure?
The “Wild Rare” single figure supplied as part of a Crossover tournament can either be a Rare, Super Rare, Chase, or Buy-it-by-the-Brick figure from a Modern Marvel set.

What figures will be available immediately in Crossover Booster Sealed Tournaments?
When Crossover tournaments launch, they will draw figures from:

• Hammer of Thor
• GSX+
• Fantastic Four Starter
• Hammer of Thor Fast Force
• The Incredible Hulk Fast Force
• Marvel’s The Avengers Gravity Feed
• Marvel’s The Avengers Starter
• Galactic Guardians Fast Force
• Galactic Guardians preview figures (4 figures previously released, 4 additional figures to be released May 17-30)

What figures will be available in Crossover Booster Sealed Tournaments in the future?
As our Figure-of-the-Week (FOTW) programs continue, each new week of Marvel figures will bring those figures into the Crossover distribution, typically starting the week after they leave the store as FOTW figures.

Will there be any other brands of Crossover Booster Sealed Tournaments in the future?
Currently, Crossover tournaments will be Marvel-only.
